8. Falling
Another very common issue that dementia patients face is falling. Since they sometimes do not know where their feet are going, they fall off. They may even fall down the stairs because of this. Many forget what direction they are going and lose where their house really is. Therefore it is crucial to have someone close to a dementia patient with them outdoors.
