The Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban have long been best-selling large SUVs, but those sales have not reflected their strength compared to competitors.
However, the switch to an independent rear suspension for the all-new generation for 2021 has radically transformed it.
The third row in the Tahoe and its twin, the GMC Yukon, goes from being almost unridable to one of the largest rows in any car. The cargo volume has become larger, including in the Suburban and Yukon XL, which have longer dimensions and a lower cargo floor. Ride and handling are also greatly improved.
Along with suspension improvements, there’s a unique diesel engine option that gives you crossover-like fuel economy and a just as competitive interior.
